Drishti Shrivastava

My name is Drishti Srivastava. I have done Bachelors in Fine Arts (BFA) and Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) both in the specialization of Painting. I started my pursuing this course for the graduation in 2015 and completing the post-graduation in 2021
I am passionate about paintings as compared to other specializations like drawing, print - making and sculpture. My favourite artists are Ranbir Kaleka and Jagannath Panda. I do Landscape paintings, Spatula paintings and Composition paintings which are my greatest strengths and comfort of my painting themes in single piece or in a set of series. In Composition Paintings, I like to show my themes in a form of uncommon objects and are used in various directions and places, as in to align in different angles. It shows and realizes to look around in different perspective or to think beyond reality. I see Jagannath Panda's and Ranbir Kaleka's work, which gets me a confidence as their color schemes, renderings, and some abstractions done in a realistic manner with a feeling of different angles and making of distortions.
