- the homeless. People who are without a roof over their heads , for them a home is all there is on their minds. This composition is depiction of the same.
The face-figures are composed without the condition of revealing their sexes. (whether male/female) my intention here is to express the helpless plight of people / mob/ masses who live without a shelter. The raw line work of huts is to depict their non- idealistic impression of a home. A square courtyard at the upper right of the canvas, depicts the idea of having a common space for those living together. An expression being a common space for togetherness.
